Location: Zoom

Suggested donation – $10.00 - $80.00

Six weekly sessions on Wednesdays, noon-1:30pm ET, with the next session running October 16th to November 20th.

This is our fifth series of a white practice group to do just that. (You can read more about how this idea arose here: https://kirkridge.org/why-havent-we-acted-sooner/ .)
Timed to unfold just before, and then just after, the 2024 U.S. Presidential election, this series will help participants grapple with all of the ways that racism and white privilege are likely to be playing out this fall. Come gather with other white people as we come into greater alignment with our highest selves to act with integrity this election season and beyond.
As with previous series, the initial commitment will be for just six weeks, and then you’ll have the option to commit for six more, and so on. We’ll have different folks leading six-seek segments so that you can benefit from different approaches, which will include somatics, ancestor work, connection to land, storytelling, shared readings with discussion, ritual, and so on.

There will be a suggested donation of $60-480 per six-week session so that we can pay facilitators and also contribute to our Equity Fund that supports retreat access for BIPOC-led movement organizations and BIPOC activists. And, no one will be turned away for lack of ability to donate.

Note: All levels of experience are welcome. This group does assume that you know racism exists and are willing to look at how whiteness has shaped your own habits, beliefs, body, and unconscious tendencies in addition to strategizing about how to interrupt it in the world.  Let’s get our hands dirty together.
