Becoming trustworthy is spiritual work that helps us show up better in all our relationships, including that that cross racial lines or other power differentials. What gets in your way? Maybe it’s shame that leads you to become defensive or to go silent. Maybe it’s deep and often painful socialization that taught you that you had to perform to be accepted. Maybe it’s shyness or social anxiety that keeps you from showing yourself fully, or internalized Christian supremacy that has you bound to proving you are “one of the good ones.” Together, we’ll be unpacking some of these tendencies and experimenting with practices that enable us to transform, get free, and show up as equal co-strugglers in the effort to dismantle white supremacy.

This practice group for white antiracists will run for six Wednesdays, September 2-October 7, from noon-1:30. In order to create a safe container for this deep work, we ask that you sign up only if you believe you can make at least five of the six sessions. This accountability to one another is part of the healing of white supremacy. If you have questions about this request, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Registration is by donation with a suggested donation of $180; this amount enables us to cover our basic costs. No one will be turned away for inability to pay, and those with access to more resources will be invited to donate more to offset costs of others.

In this time of polycrisis and collapse, we have an opportunity to collectively counter and transform the ways we’ve internalized systems of domination. Join us as we reclaim right relationship with all of life!

We’ll meet on Zoom, and the Zoom link will be sent to you upon registration.
