White Antiracist Practice Group Series 8: Resisting Fascism Edition
With Nichola Torbett
May 7 - June 11, 2025
Six weekly sessions on Wednesdays, noon-1:30pm ET, with this next session running May 7-June 11, 2025 and focusing on how we resist white supremacy and white supremacy culture in this particular moment of rising fascism.
Looking for a place to deepen your antiracist practice? For a committed, kind community of support and accountability for taking action to dismantle white supremacy? You are in the right place! Our next white antiracist practice series will run for six Wednesdays, May 9-June 11, from noon-1:30. This series will focus on untangling ourselves, our organizations, and our communities from white supremacy as it is manifesting within our resistance to fascism.
Every session offers embodied practice, (re)connection with land, a little bit of teaching with reflection and discussion time, and then time to workshop situations that are coming up in our own lives.
We do ask that folks commit to attending all six sessions in the series because that helps us build a safe and reliable container. If you can’t do that this time, you can plan ahead for our next series offered early September through mid October at the same time.
There will be a suggested donation of $60-480 for the series so that we can pay facilitators and also contribute to our Equity Fund that supports retreat access for BIPOC-led movement organizations and BIPOC activists. And, no one will be turned away for lack of ability to donate.
Note: All levels of experience are welcome. This group does assume that you know racism exists and are willing to look at how whiteness has shaped your own habits, beliefs, body, and unconscious tendencies in addition to strategizing about how to interrupt it in the world. Let’s get our hands dirty together.
